FINANCE ANALYST

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst with experience of Commercial Pricing of Long Term Contracts, to join the Finance Team to help manage the expanding contract portfolio. The Financial Analyst will work closely with bid managers in bid teams pulling together the analysis, pricing and forecasting for long term Facilities Management contracts in private and public sectors. The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Finance Director and will have extensive management accounting experience as well as P&L/business case forecasting and analysis and ideally have contract, outsourcing or FM accounting exposure.
Responsibilities:
•Develop detailed financial analysis and recommendations for pricing of bids on long term contracts.
•Work closely with non financial staff (input assumptions) to create detailed P&L and cash flow forecasts over 25-30 years.
•Present investment recommendations for approval to Board / Investment Committee.
•Occasionally support presentations to external clients.
•Create financial templates and pricing benchmarks for each sector, profiling risk and costs over the full project life.
•Evaluate payment mechanisms, risk and sensitivity analysis.
•Responsible for ensuring pricing and modelling of bids is controlled to agreed policies from bidding stage through to financial close.
•Update and review costs and prices in bids ensuring use of qualitative and quantative metrics.
•Assist in maintaining and updating bid review processes to ensure completeness of bids & contracts.
•Critiquing the input to bid models, willing to challenge the status quo and improve the business.
•Develop and present complex models within strict time limits.
•Utilise NPV/ROI evaluations for potential bid pipeline opportunities.
•Assist in updating the order book for bids and ensure provision of a bid priority list.
•As part of the management accounting team produce costing & pricing on business cases/full life valuations. |
